During Mid 2023, our team undertook the complete demolition of one of Central Hawkes Bay’s most iconic buildings. Situated on the corner of the main thoroughfare in Waipukurau, anyone who has been to the region or travelled through will recognize the former Te Taiwhenua building which has housed a number of businesses over its lifespan.

Our team strategically stripped the building, leaving the concrete structure ready for demolition. On completion of this work a clean and clear site is ready for future development. The buildings proximity to the Countdown Supermarket, State Highway throughfare and other local businesses meant that real care was a priority to ensure stakeholders were not disrupted during works.
